Penguins' Asham Has Concussion-Like Symptoms

Pittsburgh Penguins right wing Arron Asham joined a slew of his teammates by being ruled out with concussion-like symptoms.

Asham suffered his symptoms after he was injured in a fight with Krys Barch of the Florida Panthers last Friday, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported. The Penguins have not confirmed that the 33-year-old Asham’s concussion took place in that specific altercation.

“(He has) symptoms that are concussion-like, and we are treating it as such,” Pittsburgh coach Dan Bylsma told the newspaper.

Asham, who is the sixth member of the Penguins to be sidelined with concussion-like symptoms, has collected two goals, nine assists and 53 penalty minutes this season.
