Pronger sidelined with concussion-like symptoms
PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger will be sidelined
indefinitely with concussion-like symptoms.
Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren says Pronger has complained of a fairly
persistent headache and sluggish feeling over the last few days. Pronger will
visit with two concussions specialists Wednesday in Pittsburgh.
It’s been a tough season for Pronger, Philadelphia’s captain, who also
missed six games with an eye injury.
He underwent surgery on his left knee last month and was expected to be out
for another two weeks.
