Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, defensive lineman Mike Wright and tight end Aaron Hernandez took part in a full-pads practice, according to multiple published reports, as the Patriots prepare to host the Jets Sunday.

Haynesworth, who has been nursing a back injury, didn’t travel with the Patriots to Oakland last week and has missed the team’s last two games. Hernandez has also missed the last two games after suffering a knee injury in the Week 2 win over the Chargers.

The news is even better concerning Wright, who suffered a concussion in the season opener. He missed the last seven games of the 2010 season with a concussion and hadn’t been seen at practice since leaving against the Dolphins in Week 1.

Among those who didn’t practice Wednesday were wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle), running back Danny Woodhead (ankle), linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee) and right tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back), according to the Boston Herald.
