Nina Dobrev gets concussion on ‘Vampire Diaries’

“The Vampire Diaries” is a big hit — and that’s exactly what star Nina Dobrev took onset Monday.
The actress tweeted on Monday that she suffered a concussion while filming.
“Still feelin side effects from the concussion I got on set,” she wrote. “Good thing purple is a good color on me otherwise …”
Though the exact cause of the concussion hasn’t been revealed yet, no permanent damage was inflicted on the star, who’s dating her costar Ian Somerhalder.

“Nina is fine” and went to a facility to get the “bump on her head” checked out, a source told E!.
While still in recovery mode, Dobrev, 22, didn’t skip a beat. She went right back to work immediately following the incident.
“Vampire Diaries” is currently in its third season and airs on the CW Thursdays at 8 p.m.
